Decorating the Christmas tree

December is here, the year has gone by SO fast! We have a work in our class this month where the children can decorate the Christmas tree.  As you can probably imagine they love this work, especially since most of the time the tree at home is "off limits" to little hands :)

signing stinky copy

We just finished learning about pumpkins...go ahead and ask your child what the outside of the pumpkin is called and what the inside of the pumpkin is called (answer: ectocarp and endocarp) Very adorable to hear them say those tricky words! We opened our pumpkin and took out all the "slime" we washed, cooked and ate the seeds.  And we even gave the pumpkin a name "stinky" chosen by Sophie, well....because he stunk :)

Halloween2 copy

Our tiny little Snow White (Summer) is really working those thumb muscles trying to conquer the drinking fountain, she managed to do it with both hands but could not quite figure out just how to also manage to drink while pushing...along came her ninja (Caden) to save the day He held the button while she got her drink, it was very tender! :)
